Fundraising Goals– All funds from our organization support the nearly 200 kids across varsity and underclassmen team needs. Meeting these needs and providing the resources for our student athletes to train and compete at the highest level has been a challenge. Needs vary based on time of year, and it can be challenging to attain funds for player waivers and participation dues, replacing worn out or broken equipment, travel expenses, elevated game day experiences, weekly pre-game team dinners, weight room nutrition, and at times even providing a pair of good cleats for a player. We believe in these kids and every penny raised will support them and the team through their Friday Night Lights experiences.
Current Specific Needs:
Cover unpaid player fees and fee waivers. Currently we still have some outstanding expenses from unpaid player dues and waivers last year. Here’s info from Jordan School District (JSD) on fee waivers: https://fees.jordandistrict.org/waiver/
The cost for player dues are $990.
Summer Camp $325
Player Equipment
Cleats, gloves, girdle, mouthpiece $225 (est. and not covered with player fees)
Owned Helmet $750-1100 (optional and depends on model)
New and replacement jerseys $5000
Replacement headsets for coaches $7000
Covered canopy $1200
Hydration Station $1700
Sideline Capes $ 3500
Stadium and Practice Fields
New speakers and PA system $10,000 (est) The sounds system is very old, garbled and hard to hear game announcements and play by play. We’d love it if our families and local community members that support us could have a better experience.
Fixing grass and practice areas $10,000 (est) We share our field with boys/girls soccer, lacrosse, and band. Frequently we can’t practice or play on our football field and have to practice in the grass areas at the high school. There are many uneven spots that need to be filled and leveled to prevent more injuries and there are not funds in the JSD budget to resolve this.
A/V Cameras and Equipment
Endzone Hi-Rise camera scopes $3500 x2
Sony Cameras with batteries, lenses, etc $3500 x2
